Thomas Fawcett & Sons Ltd is an 8th generation family business that has been manufacturing quality malts for over 200 years on its original site in Castleford, West Yorkshire. The Fawcett family settled on this site, due to its location at the heart of some of the best malting barley farmland in the UK.

The best malts need the best barley. Our ethos centres on quality over quantity, and an uncompromised product every time. Batch sizes remain small to ensure consistent quality throughout an extensive product range. We malt for longer time periods than most as you can’t rush flavour.
